A proposal happens once. In Venice, a beautiful place and a discreet photographer can make it unforgettable, without spoiling the surprise.
1. Choose a meaningful, quiet place
A calm bridge, a quay or a courtyard gives you privacy and beautiful light. Famous spots are often crowded.
2. Pick the right hour
Early morning and sunset are the most romantic. Avoid midday when the light is harsh and the streets full.
3. Agree a signal
We decide a simple sign so I know when to start, and I stay out of sight until then.
4. Think about the ring and the words
Keep the ring easy to reach and rehearse a few words. Nerves are normal and often make the most beautiful photographs.
5. Plan B for weather
We prepare an alternative date or a covered spot.
6. Celebrate afterwards
After the proposal we can continue with a short romantic session. See the Venice proposal photographer page.
