How it works

The short version

1. You send a request with your idea, date and details (three minutes).
2. I reply within 24 hours with a personal quote and availability.
3. You confirm with one click from the email. No online payment, no deposit.
4. We meet in Venice, I guide you through the session, and you pay after the shoot.

Where do we meet?

We agree the meeting point a day or two before, based on where you are staying and the light of the day. It is usually a place that is easy to find and quiet enough to start relaxed.

Will you tell me how to pose?

Yes, always. You do not need to be a model or to feel photogenic. I give simple directions (where to look, how to move, what to do with your hands) and I suggest gestures that make you look like a character in a painting, not like someone posing.

How much do we walk?

Venice is a city of walking, bridges and steps. A session is a slow walk with many pauses, usually through a few streets and courtyards close to each other. Wear comfortable shoes. If you have mobility limits or children, tell me in the request and I will plan an easier route.

What if it rains?

Light rain and fog can be magnificent for the mood of my photographs, and we can decide together to embrace it. If the weather is too hard, we move the session to another date at no cost.

Makeup and hair

You can do your own or ask for a makeup and hair artist (extra cost, included in the quote). For artistic and flying dress sessions I recommend professional makeup; I will advise you.

What should I wear?

Bring your own outfit or choose an artistic dress such as a paper dress or a flying dress. If you bring your own, favour plain fabrics, movement and colours that are not too bright: they work best with Venetian light. I will send you personal suggestions after your request.

Light and timing

I only use natural light. The best moments are usually early morning and the hour before sunset, but overcast days give a soft, painterly look too. In the quote I will propose the best time for the mood you want.

How and when do I pay?

After the service. You can pay via cash, PayPal, or Satispay; if you prefer a different method, please specify this when accepting the quote. There are no online payment options on this website.

How do I secure my date without a deposit?

When I send your quote, you confirm the date with one click and accept the terms. From that moment the date is reserved for you, and I will not offer it to anyone else. If your plans change, please just tell me as soon as you can.

When will I receive the photographs?

Each photograph undergoes artistic post-production, a process that requires both care and time. I will specify the delivery timeframe in your quote, so you know exactly what to expect.

How many photographs will I receive?

The number of photographs you receive depends on the duration of the photo session and the amount of time we choose to dedicate to your experience.

Every session is unique: the more time we have, the more opportunities we’ll have to explore different locations, atmospheres, and moments.

Following the session, I will personally select and curate each image, providing you with a gallery of high-quality final photographs that remain consistent with my artistic style.

My goal is not simply to provide a large number of photos, but to deliver a collection of images that authentically and personally tell the story of your experience in Venice.

I will specify the minimum number of photographs you will receive in your quote.

Privacy and use of your photos

In the request form you choose whether I may publish selected photos in my portfolio and social profiles. You can change your mind at any time by writing to me. Read the privacy policy and the terms.

Practical notes for Venice

Day visitors may have to pay Venice’s access fee on certain dates: check the official city website before you travel. Travel light, and leave large luggage at your hotel.
